The County Speech Therapy is now looking for two speech therapists for Kiruna Hospital, where you will be part of a county-wide operation at the forefront of development and change work. You will also have the opportunity to work in a new, state-of-the-art hospital in Kiruna, which is planned to be completed in 2031.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist. We would like you to have previous experience in the profession as well as experience with patient contact via distance technology, although this is not a requirement.
 
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, takes initiative in their work, and can prioritize among their tasks. You are structured, service-oriented, and have a good attitude. You enjoy working in a team, value, and see the benefits of working together.

What you will work with

We offer you a varied and diverse job. The tasks distributed between the two positions include neuro outpatient and inpatient care, preschool children with development-related speech and language difficulties, as well as language, reading, and writing assessments for school children and adults. There is also the opportunity to influence the content of the work based on interest.
 
The work involves both assessment and treatment, where all our patient visits that can take place remotely are conducted via distance technology. We are an organization that continuously works with development and quality assurance through collegial collaborations in county round groups divided into different diagnostic areas. In these forums, we support each other to continuously develop within our profession with both assessment, treatment, and consultation.
 
Within the County Speech Therapy, there are 20 speech therapy positions and three secretaries. We are an organization that values collaboration and team spirit. We step in and support each other during any absence, where we also have the opportunity to develop by working with other speech therapy tasks. You will also have the opportunity to receive psychological supervision in groups a few times each term, and we offer you internal training as needed.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position during daytime within the County Speech Therapy Norrbotten with placement at Kiruna Hospital. Start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
